Go Big in Bordeaux

It is a well-known fact that wine tastes better in large formats.

The timing is perfect as the holidays are right around the corner and it is starting to cool down to safely ship these gems to your door. When it comes to Bordeaux (all wine in fact), bigger is better.

Whether it is a party of four or forty, we have you covered with our amazing collection below. Ducru, Cos d'Estournel, Lafite, Haut Brion, and so many other top producers. Compared to 750mL bottles, wines in larger formats tend to age at a slower pace and keep their “freshness” even longer. It is also fun to revisit a wine you had in 750ml and now have it in 1.5L, 3.0L, or even 6.0L to compare.

Highlights:

2005 Cos d'Estournel 6L - "monster of a wine that delivers an incredible level of opulence and decadence" (JD99)

2005 Ducru Beaucaillou 6L - "This is signature St Julien, concentrated yet delicate" (DC98)

1982 Mouton 6L - "This is Bordeaux at its most sexy and hedonistic" (JD100)

1989 Palmer 3L - "very detailed and engaging finish that urges you back for another sip" (AG97)

2009 Pontet Canet 3L - "amazing wine in every sense, this classic, full-bodied Pauillac" (RP100)

This list below has everything you will need for the holidays, or just to add to your collection. Price points are extremely attractive and we are the only supplier of some of these wines in the entire country!
