Pierre Yves Colin Morey: A Beacon of Excellence in Burgundy

When we tell you these wines never make it on to our offer list we mean it - the reason being that the GRW team usually buys it all for themselves! We are in love with the wines coming from Pierre Yves Colin Morey (PYCM) and if this producer wasn't already on your radar, it absolutely needs to be.

In the past decade, Pierre Yves Colin has gone from rising star to full-fledged sensation in Burgundy and his wines have achieved "must-buy" status among sommeliers, collectors, and Burgundy drinkers alike.

The eldest son of Marc Colin, Pierre worked as the winemaker at his father’s Domaine from 1994 to 2005. In 2005, he established his own Domaine alongside his wife Caroline Morey from vineyards they inherited from their historic families. Since that time, he has rapidly become an icon in the Cote de Beaune and is now considered one of Burgundy’s best producers. His fastidious farming, incredible attention to detail, use of larger demi-muid barrels, and long elevage, makes each one of his bottlings a clear expression of its terroir and a study in mineral-driven Chardonnay.

If you want to experience some of the most exciting wines being made in Burgundy - this is it!

“This is not just one of the top domaines in the Cote de Beaune in Burgundy, Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey is now well recognized as one of the greatest winemakers and domaines in the world. Consistently producing benchmark wines in each vintage.”
