2006 Abreu Madrona 2006 - Wine Advocate # 174 - Dec 2007: The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Madrona Ranch has a similar color to the other wine, dense purple/bluish hues, but is softer, more up-front, and seems to me even more exuberant and flamboyant than the 2004 was at this stage. The wine is full-bodied and sexy, with notes of espresso, chocolate, blackberry, blueberry, graphite, and spring flowers. A superb wine with great purity and density, this is a total hedonistic turn-on to taste. This wine should be relatively drinkable upon release and last 25 or more years as well.
