"The 2022 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is a heady, concentrated wine. Ample and exotic, with tremendous depth, the 2022 is seriously impressive right out of the gate. Candied citrus peel, mint, white pepper, graphite, tangerine oil and crushed rocks stain the palate. The 2022 has really come together over the last year and now shows all the potential I sensed when I first tasted it from barrel. I wouldn’t dream of touching a bottle anytime soon, as the 2022 is clearly built for the long haul. This wine was more open at the same time last year, but over the last 12 months, it has grown much deeper and more serious.
