"I have had mixed experiences with this wine though this most recent bottle from my own cellar displayed none of the dryness that some bottles I have had do. There is superb complexity to the now fully mature now that speaks of spice, earth, animale hints and a mix of both red and dark currants as well as a touch of wood. There is also excellent depth to the impressively rich, delicious and enveloping medium-weight flavors that possess good verve and seriously good length. NOTE: I have had other bottles that seem to be drying out with a finish that displays dry wood tannins. These bottles would be in the 88 to 89 point range.
