"This east-facing slope across from Freemark Abbey is somewhat sheltered from late afternoon heat, no doubt a contributing factor to the superb quality of the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard. Pretty herbal shadings—including some mint—join hints of dusty earth and copious amounts of ripe cherries on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is expansive, velvety and plush yet also long, cool and elegant, with a fine dusting of tannins on the lingering finish. It's approximately 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot co-femented with the parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon." - Wine Advocate, RP98+ (JC), tasted 6/2025
