"The 2014 Musigny Grand Cru offers lively red fruit laced with potpourri and light pressed rose petal scents. It does not deliver the grandeur of a top Musigny, but it conveys modest class and sophistication. This was almost Barolo-like on the palate, not powerful, but refined, with understated mineralité and a cohesive yet understated finish. Perhaps the vintage just limited its capabilities?
