"Like many 2004s today there is a touch of reduction present yet it's not so strong as to completely mask the still youthful fruit, spice and floral scents; I would strongly suggest decanting this for 20 minutes or so first. Otherwise there is terrific energy, tension and delineation to the mineral-driven broad-shouldered flavors that possess focused power and huge length. To my taste, this has peaked and while there is no danger of it declining anytime soon, neither is there any reason not to be opening whatever bottles you may possess.
