Lafon Le Montrachet 1993 750mL (Slightly Soiled Label)

"Quite aromatically evolved and forward with strong oak toast aromas framing the beginning of beautifully complex secondary fruit notes and big, rich, dramatic, deep, full-bodied, remarkably powerful flavors underpinned by racy acidity and displaying fine length if perhaps not quite the exquisite balance of the best of this range. Still, this is undoubtedly a fine effort and one that is close to peaking." - Burghound, BH92, tasted 4/2003
