"The 2018 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru, like Roumier's own take, shows some reduction on the nose, whilst the fruit is a tad darker and the oak more pronounced. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth entry, harmonious red berry fruit, subtle spicy notes with an almost gentle, lilting finish that is quite beguiling.
