"The 2013 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru les Amoureuses is a knockout wine from Frédéric Mugnier. It has showstopping definition with "cool" red berry fruit intermingling with wild hedgerow and blackberry aromas. I could just inhale this until the cows come home. The palate displays unerring balance and is blessed with very precise tannin. It is quite backward but is unequivocally supremely well focused.
