"The barest hint of secondary character is present on the ultra-spicy plum-infused nose that offers an extensive range of floral elements on the red and dark berry fruit aromas that are cut with Asian-style tea wisps. The broad-shouldered and concentrated flavors are ultra-refined yet exceptionally powerful and almost painfully intense while offer stunningly good length on the graceful and classy, if still decidedly compact, finale where the only nit is a hint of warmth. Despite the subtle confirmation by the nose that the '16 Musigny is making gradual progress towards full maturity, the complexity of the finish is lagging behind.
