"A last-minute addition, the 1992 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is another memorable wine in this vertical. It offers up an exotic mix of dark-toned fruit, gravel, incense, licorice, dried herbs and graphite. Exotic floral and spice overtones soar from the glass, seemingly pulling it all together. Yields were not especially low, and yet the 1992 comes across as quite heady. Time reveals a more delicate, Pinot-like side to its personality. The 1992 continued to develop beautifully as followed it. Tonight, it is hauntingly beautiful, and a great example of the wines made here from the original plantings.
