Roty Griotte Chambertin 2005 750mL

"A notably ripe nose of still almost completely primary dark berry fruit, earth and game scents is trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is outstanding volume, richness and mid-palate concentration to the powerful big-bodied flavors that display a discreet minerality on the well-muscled and explosively long if slightly warm finish that coats the mouth. This is nowhere near ready, indeed it is probably at least a decade away from its peak and I would very much advise continued patience." - Burghound, HB93, tasted 4/2017
