"Here the nose is very ripe yet not surmature with its notes of baked plum, black cherry liqueur with nuances of truffle and forest floor lurking in the background. The highly energetic and intense medium weight plus flavors exude a refreshing salinity on the dusty and exceptionally firm bitter cherry pit-inflected finale that is more structured still. This markedly austere effort is quite backward and compact, and I would advise not touching a bottle for at least 10 years and 20 would be better if you have the patience." - Burghound, BH94, tasted 1/2021
